Why be involved in this fair?
The crescendant interest in natural tourism resources, particularly in birds, is an important advantage for the nature and biodiversity conservation. Observe the wildlife in its natural habitat, sensitizes the visitor about the value of the resources related with the observed species and their habitats.
On the other hand, this sustainable tourism in protected areas is a significant contribution for local communities, which are committed in a responsible manner to the natural values while promoting a high quality experience for visitors.
The diverse program of the “III ObservArribas - The Iberian Nature Festival of Arribas do Douro” proposes birdwatching and nature walks, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, activities for children, sale of local products and services, and much more.
Egyptian vulture, Black stork and Bonelli's eagle are some of the species that can be observed at this time of the year.
